Gene was born and raised in an awesome small town in South Texas (Alice), but also had the opportunity of experiencing life in Colorado, Nevada, and Oregon – as well as in Germany (US Army Service) and Mexico (language school and missionary work). He has had the pleasure of traveling around the world and meeting many incredible people, as well as seeing so many inspiring sites. Gene has a BA in Psychology from Texas A&I University in Corpus Christi, Texas (now a part of the Texas A&M University System) and a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Forth, Texas. He has had the privilege of pastoring several churches over the years, as well as doing extensive evangelism and missionary type ministries on the streets and in many different kinds of churches, along with chaplain work in jails and prisons. One of the great ministry experiences was the privilege to work four years with Dr. Rochunga and Mawii Pudaite at their international headquarters for Bibles For The World in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has also had extensive experience doing sales work in many different kinds of environments, which opened up many additional opportunities for ministry. For recreation, Gene enjoys reading, playing chess and tennis, and scuba diving. Gene’s other two books are “HOW TO EXPERIENCE YOUR ONENESS WITH CHRIST” and “THE BIBLICAL SECRET TO HAPPINESS”.
